Four Decades Of Precision In El Monte

Ideal Machining & Supply Inc. has served Southern California industry since 1983 with precision machining, fabrication, welding, and engineering support.

Our Story

Machining The San Gabriel Valley Since 1983

Ideal Machining & Supply Inc. opened its doors in 1983 and has operated from El Monte, California ever since. Over four decades the company has grown alongside the manufacturers, processors, and maintenance teams that make up Southern California industry.

That longevity comes from a straightforward approach: understand the customer’s part, machine it accurately, and deliver it when promised. Many of the customers who send us work today have been working with our shop for years.

Our location in the San Gabriel Valley keeps us close to the companies we serve, which makes short lead times, drawing reviews, and in-person pickups practical rather than complicated.

The Shop

A machine shop is only as good as the hands running it. Our team pairs practical shop experience with capable equipment so customers get parts that are right the first time.

Skilled Machinists

Setups, tooling decisions, and finishing are handled by machinists with years of production and repair experience behind them.

Equipped Facility

CNC and conventional machines are kept in working order and arranged so a job can move from raw stock to finished part in house.

Engineering Support

In-house engineering and design support helps customers move from a concept, a sample, or a worn part to a manufacturable drawing.

Customer Commitment

We review requirements before quoting, flag anything that will affect cost or schedule, and keep customers informed through delivery.

Quality & Certifications

Precision We Stand Behind

Our quality practices are built around measurement and communication. Every job is checked against the drawing it was quoted from, and anything unclear is raised with the customer before the part is produced.

Dimensional Inspection

Micrometers, calipers, gauges, and surface plates are used to verify features against the customer drawing.

In-Process Checks

Operators check critical dimensions during the run so deviations are caught at the machine, not at delivery.

Documentation on Request

Material information and inspection records can be supplied when a customer's purchase order requires them.

Drawing Review

Prints and revisions are reviewed before work begins so questions are resolved before chips are cut.

Certification Information

This section is reserved for certification details such as ISO 9001 registration, certificate numbers, registrar, scope, and issue and expiration dates. Certification details will be published here only once they have been confirmed and supplied by authorized company personnel. No certification is claimed or implied until that confirmation is in place.

Customers who require certification documentation, material certifications, or inspection records for a specific order are welcome to request them with their inquiry.
